What do you want?
What does wanting know?
What does your heart want you to want?
What does your heart know?
Every single thing.
You know how in dreams everything can be alive?
Our heart knows all about that.
You know how everyone is always asking?
"Where did life come from?"
Life has been here from the start.
You know how science assumes that
"All of the atoms that make us up could be piled
together in a corner
and none of them would be alive"?
"They are all alive, just with a different metabolism rate.
One that is too slow to be documented,"
suggests Jeremy Taylor.
Be hard to prove him wrong.
Or right.
But that's the thing that is wrong with all forms of Spirituality.
It cannot be proven to be wrong, or right.
Which gets us back to heart.
Why not live as though our "heart,"
whatever that is, certainly not the pump
that keeps the blood flowing,
but (Let's call it), the foundation of Right Brain.
Why not live as though the Right Brain
is 100% correct about what we need
and need to want,
and as though we cannot do better
than hand ourselves over to the care and direction
of Right Brain on our way through
the rest of our life.
Why not live as though that is absolutely true?

'Jeremy Taylor said that D.T. Suzuki said
in answer to a persistent member of the audience
who asked three times "What does 'enlightenment' MEAN?",
"'Enlightenment' may also be understood as
habitual intuition."
And, Taylor follows this with a comment
from Alan Watts who said,
in response to this statement of Suzuki's,
"To most uninitiated observers, 'enlightenment'
and what happens in the enlightened person's life
looks like luck."
I take from this that living in a state
of constant enlightenment/intuition
is being constantly "lucky."
What does this do to our concepts
of "enlightenment" and "lucky"?
Do intuitive people appear to you
as being lucky?
Do lucky people appear to you
as being intuitive?
Can people be born "enlightened"?
Can people be born "lucky"?
Can we be "intuitively lucky" from birth?
What can we do to increase our chances
of being intuitive?
How might we practice,
develop,
intuition?
Do these questions turn your world upside down?
Were Jesus and the Buddha born intuitive?
Is intuition the answer to all of our problems world-wide today?

Back in the early years of our marriage,
my wife and I were sitting with her siblings,
my in-laws,
and their spouses
in my wife's "twin" sister's house
(They were born at the same time,
and that is where the similarities end),
wondering what to do with the day,
when her brother said,
with an intended reference
to me and my wife,
"We could go to the library
and look at magazines."
The others laughed,
I took it as an astute revelation
regarding how we, but mostly I,
appeared to the group,
and I took it as an "Aha moment,"
delivered to me, personally:
"So THIS is who I am perceived to be--
and AM!"
Not that I have ever once in all my life
gone to a library to look at magazines,
but.
I have spent my entire life
taking photographs
that could very well appear
in some of those magazines.
I have wandered in the natural world,
taking photos,
and that is better than anything
the magazine section of any library
has to offer.
There I am.
That is me.
That says all you need to know.
And, it was apparent
to my brother-in-law
all those years ago.
And, instead of taking it as a put-down,
I took it as a compliment,
and have consciously applied myself
to the task of being who I am
throughout all the years from then to now.
And I have always been greatful
to my brother-in-law
for making me consciously aware
of who I am--
and thereby allowing me to embrace it
wholeheartedly all this time.
Like a mirror reflecting who I am,
and who I am to be.
It is a wonder to be so clearly known,
even in such a not-so-admirable way.

I'm not selling SkillShare but.
Their opening page on "intuition"
is quite worth the read:

Intuition is Right Brain stuff.
Enlightenment is Right Brain stuff.
Civilization, politics, culture, etc. are all
Left Brain stuff.
Primal/Indigenous people are Right Brain stuff.
Nature is Right Brain stuff.
When, in the development of human beings,
moving from a primal ("primitive") orientation
to an "industrial" ("Developed World") orientation
did the transition become officially complete
from Right Brain centered to Left Brain centered?
That is when things officially
went to hell.
